About Us:

First Choice Drainage Solutions is a family-run business in the drainage, plumbing and groundworks sector. We are looking for an experienced Plumbing and Heating Engineer to cover our workload in London and the surrounding home counties. This is a permanent role which would suit a well-rounded experienced Plumber/Heating Engineer working with Domestic and Commercial clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

Service, repair, and maintenance of gas heating systems. Service, repair and installation of boilers as required and working in accordance with Gas Safety Regulations and manufacturers' instructions. Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and water supply systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and low water pressure. Perform CCTV drain inspections, leak detection, and pipe relining if required. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent future plumbing issues. Cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings using hand and power tools. To undertake an assessment of repairs reported by customers, to diagnose the fault and provide information that will enable a decision to be made on the best and most cost-effective course of action to resolve the problem. To plan and organise workload to maximise productive time and ensure the best service to customers. This includes dealing with urgent and emergency repairs and ensuring, as far as practicable, that all appointments and targets are met.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum required experience to apply:

Proven experience as a Plumber Qualification in plumbing Experience in gas fitting and heating systems Qualification in Gas (Gas Safe Registered) You will also need to have a Full UK clean driving licence with a minimum of 2 years driving experience. Must be confident and have good communication and customer service skills
Successful candidates will be provided with a company mobile phone, a fully equipped company van and uniform. We also continually invest the training and development needs of our staff, to ensure all required competencies are met.

The position is road based in London and surrounding counties. Our main office is based in Harlow and there would be a requirement to visit the office on occasions such as meetings and collection of tools and parts.

Pay: 170.00-200.00 per day
