Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, particularly in renewable heating installations and maintenance. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that all heating systems operate efficiently and safely.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair heating systems in residential and commercial properties. Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are functioning correctly and efficiently. Troubleshoot issues with heating equipment and perform necessary repairs. Assemble components of heating systems using hand tools and power tools. Plumb heating systems according to specifications and safety regulations. Perform heavy lifting as required during installations and repairs. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians, to ensure comprehensive service delivery.

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge related to heating systems is essential. 5+ years of experienced required. Experience in Air Source Heat Pump installations is highly desirable. Gas safe qualifications are essential. Oil and LPG qualifications are desirable but not essential. Electrical experience is desirable. Basic maths skills are necessary for measurements and calculations during installations. A valid driving licence is essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently is essential. Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: 37,130.00-40,000.00 per year
