Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber / Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various materials and systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as welding techniques.

Responsibilities

Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems according to specifications and schematics. Perform welding tasks including stick welding and soldering to ensure secure connections. Troubleshoot and repair existing plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality. Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Document work performed and report any issues or concerns to management.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a plumber or pipefitter with a strong understanding of plumbing systems. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings. Strong mechanical knowledge with problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments. Relevant certifications or qualifications in plumbing or pipefitting are advantageous but not essential.
