Primext FM & Small Works operates throughout Scotland with a particular focus on works within the central belt. Due to continued growth and new contract awards, we have an immediate need for a Commercial Plumber/Gas Engineer. We have a varied client base which includes Local Authorities, Health Boards, National FM Providers and highly reputable hotel chains. As such the workload will be varied.

Responsibilities:
- Wide range of plumbing duties ranging from fault finding, minor fixes and repairs to full installations (domestic and commercial)

- Install, repair, and maintain heating systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Perform routine maintenance on heating systems to ensure optimal performance
- Work with our in house trades to complete remodelling projects (domestic and commercial) that involve heating and plumbing installations or modifications

Experience/Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Commercial gas accredited

- Experience in Legionella Risk Assessments & Treatment

This position will require the successful candidate to be client facing, therefore effective communication skills are essential. You will also require a full clean drivers license. There will be a degree of travel involved and with overnights at client hotel sites whilst project works are underway.

A company van will be provided along with a fuel card (for business use only)

The successful candidate must be a team player and understand that there will be a mix of both plumbing and gas related works. Adaptability is therefore a key skillset requirement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 18.00-19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Overtime
