Job Overview

We are seeking a versatile Handy Man with Plumbing experience to join our busy property team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of practical skills and experience in various maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and is comfortable using both hand and power tools. The Handy Man will be responsible for ensuring that properties are well-maintained, safe, and functional.

For this role you will need a full driving license and use of your own vehicle. Fuel will be covered. You are also required to use a smart phone.

Responsibilities

Install and repair plumbing systems Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues Maintain accurate records of work performed Adhere to safety standards and building codes Collaborate with team members on larger projects Provide excellent customer service Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing problems Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks across various properties. Assemble furniture, fixtures, and equipment as required. Use power tools and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently. Conduct plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks and installing fixtures. Execute carpentry work, including building or repairing structures. Carry out welding tasks when necessary for repairs or installations. Assist with heavy lifting and moving of materials or equipment. Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.

Experience

Proven Plumbing experience and qualifications. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Familiarity with basic maths for measurements and calculations related to tasks. Experience in commercial driving is an advantage for transporting materials. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
