Description

At an exciting time for women\'s performance rugby in Wales, Swansea University, in partnership with Ospreys Rugby, have been awarded a WRU Player Development Centre (PDC) for West Wales. As one of three centres in the PDC network, we will deliver a localised and high-quality day-to-day training and coaching programme for the Wales\' most high potential, pre-elite female players.

We are now seeking to appoint the Player Development Centre Lead to drive forward the implementation and operation of the PDC during the inaugural two seasons.

The purpose of the PDC Lead is to create an inspiring and transformational development environment for Wales\' next generation of national and international female rugby players in West Wales. This role will also work closely with Swansea University\'s Women\'s Rugby programme, helping to implement and drive standards forward, both on and off the pitch, utilising the available resource to benefit both programmes.

The post is based at the Swansea Bay Sports Park and will work throughout the West Wales region to deliver the PDC objectives. This is an opportunity to join our High-Performance Team and be part of a professional and progressive organisation that will be at the leading edge of sport, health, and fitness in Wales.

This is a truly unique opportunity, and we are seeking a talented, experienced, highly driven, knowledgeable, and inspirational leader to drive the programme forward, lead transformational change and create genuine impact for women\'s rugby in Wales.
