Play Worker
Job Description
We are looking for a Play Worker to work within our extended hours after school club program. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about working with children and is able to make our club fun, interesting and exciting for the children that attend. The club will offer a range of activities from arts and crafts, creative play, sports plus more.
The club will run from Monday - Thursday, 3pm - 6pm during term time. The club is based at a primary school and is open for children aged between 3 - 11 years old.
You will be responsible for;
Setting up and organising activities
Engaging with children through play and conversation
Ensuring the safety and welfare of the children in your care
Liaising with school staff and parents
Job Specification;
Previous experience of working with primary age children
Ideally will hold a childcare qualification / certificate
Valid DBS certificate
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 17.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
