As part of HVAC Cooling, SPX Cooling Technologies is a leader in high quality industrial HVAC equipment used to cool large facilities like hospitals, data centers, and power plants. With cooling towers, fans, and refrigeration units, companies rely on brands like Marley, Recold, and SGS to provide comfort and mission critical and industrial cooling solutions.





Responsible for the running and upkeep of Plasma Cutter & CNC Punch Machine, Also to be trained on Fan Balancing Machine. Training to be provided for each process.


Reporting to Shop floor supervisor




PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Responsible for production cutting on either Plasma Cutter or CNC Punch Machine. Identify correct grade and thickness of material to be used. Operate or assist on CNC Brake Press as and when required. Recording of scrap weights against material codes. Operate Overhead Crane (Training given if required). 3s / 5s - Maintain clean working area. Carry out Fan Impellor Balancing, Training given. Use MIG welding machine to tack and weld weights whilst balancing impellors. Work on your own or as part of a team. Work with Mild and stainless steel.



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES


Ability to work to engineering drawings. Ability to use Plasma cutter, CNC Punch machine, CNC Press brake, Balancing machine. Not essential as training can be provided. Computer Literate Ability to use measuring instruments ( Vernier Caliper, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Micrometer, Tape measure



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


Required Education / Experience

Manufacturing Experience Computer Knowledge


Preferred Education / Experience

CSE/GCSE in English and Maths
