Plant Operator - Anaerobic Digestion

\xc2\xa330,000 - \xc2\xa332,000 + monthly KPI bonus
4 on 4 off day shifts + on call rota
Introduction
We\'re currently seeking an enthusiastic Operator to join our client\'s anaerobic digestion facility. We\'re looking for someone who is keen to learn and be part of a committed team who are running a renewable energy facility. The right candidate will be able to drive a Telehandler and have a hunger to learn something new.

If you have an agricultural background and looking for a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, this could be the job for you.
Roles & Responsibilities
As the Plant Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out day to day operations of the anaerobic digestion plant.
• Learning how to use the SCADA control systems to monitor the process.
• Carrying out planned & reactive maintenance of the plant, which will include working on pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, pipework etc once trained.
• Feeding fuel into the process using mobile plant such as a telehandler.
• Responding to machine and systems failures once trained.
• General site housekeeping, keeping it clean and tidy.
• Ensuring adherence with health & safety.
• Other duties as required.

Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

• Experience working in Anaerobic Digestion is an advantage but not essential.
• You must be able to drive a Telehandler or mobile plant.
• Experience carrying out first line maintenance on process plant such as pumps & conveyors is an advantage.
• knowledge of SCADA/DCS/GMI systems is advantageous.
• An excellent attitude and someone who wants to learn new skills.

Salary & Package

• Salary up to 32,000.
