Summary

We are seeking someone with a Mechanical background & Driving ability to join our team at Phils Tool Hire. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse range of plant and machinery. You will also be required to load up and deliver any machines or equipment to our customers within the area.

Responsibilities

Perform regular maintenance and repairs on various tools and plant machinery ensuring it is fit for use. Diagnose mechanical issues before any problems arise. Fabricate or replace parts as needed to ensure equipment functionality. Experience with diesel / petrol engines, hydraulic machinery and electrics. Utilize power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks. Provide excellent customer service Load up machines onto trailers safely Deliver goods on time to a high standard

Requirements

Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role within the tool hire industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to problems solve and repair equipment efficiently. Competent in driving & operating plant machinery Drive vehicles as required for testing or delivery purposes. Full UK valid driving license is essential Towing experience required Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with customers.
