Our fantastic client who are a family run business near Dursley in the construction industry are seeking an experienced Plant Hire Controller to join their small and friendly team on a full-time permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and hard-working team with the option to progress and train in other areas of the business should this be of interest to you. The successful candidate will work closely with Hire and Transport colleagues and drivers to ensure a high quality, reliable and efficient service.
Duties:
-Deal with customer enquiries by telephone, email and other means promptly
-Arrange hire of plant and equipment to customer requirements and negotiate best terms
-Provide customer quotations and follow up on enquiries
-Liaise with customers regarding on and off hire
-Build and retain customer relationships and help grow existing accounts
-Liaise with the team regarding invoice disputes and credit notes and raise any queries with accounts
-Ensure all hire equipment servicing and inspections are up to date
-General office administration
Candidate Attributes:
- Knowledge and understanding of plant hire
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work in a busy environment
- IT literate, ability to pick up new systems quickly
Hours: Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday - 07.30am - 5pm
Salary: \xc2\xa328,000 depending on experience + free onsite parking
