In March 2023, Publicis Media won the Adobe business for Europe, APAC, and Japan. We have established the Adobe.pub team to act as a seamless extension of the Adobe marketing team. Adobe.pub sits within the Zenith Global team and benefits from the opportunity, infrastructure and culture of one of the best international agencies in London.
The EMEA team, which has 70 members spread across London and India, covers all EMEA activity, from establishing strategy to media planning, activating media across digital channels, and reporting on campaign results. We handle both performance and upper funnel activity and are dedicated to creating full-funnel strategies to maximise Adobe\'s digital engagement.
We are looking for a EMEA Planning Manager
This is an opportunity to work with one of the world\'s finest global technology firms in a freshly formed team dedicated to delivering the greatest digital marketing in the world. It is an interesting, dynamic, and diverse workplace in which to manage significant budgets and learn from the top practitioners.
We are looking for someone who can come in and immediately make an impact. This person should exude confidence and be able to motivate, educate and aid the development of other members of the team. Whilst the successful candidate will be well supported, it is expected that they should be able to \xe2\x80\x98hit the ground running\xe2\x80\x99, and for the most part be able to manage their team autonomously.
The role reports to the EMEA Business Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
\xc2\xb7 Develop effective, efficient and exciting cross channel media strategies, rooted in unquestionable rationale, for some of Adobe\xe2\x80\x99s key products such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Express and Acrobat.
\xc2\xb7 Manage campaigns from Brief to PCA, with the support of the Business Director and Planning Exec.
\xc2\xb7 Work collaboratively with the marketing team at Adobe to take them on a journey through plan creation, digital implementation and post campaign analysis
\xc2\xb7 Forging strong working relationships with the digital activation team and media vendors alike.
\xc2\xb7 Ensuring accurate & timely campaign activation.
\xc2\xb7 Maintaining financial accuracy and tracking, with the support of a planning exec.
\xc2\xb7 Supporting the development of a planning executive.
\xc2\xb7 Contribute to test & learn programmes to improve Adobe\xe2\x80\x99s media effectiveness in partnership with the Digital Strategy Director, EMEA Business Director and the Digital Activation Team.
\xc2\xb7 Ensure high quality data delivery for Adobe, together with the relevant digital specialists.
\xc2\xb7 Effectively analyse historical campaigns to integrate learnings into future campaigns, together with the analytics teams within Adobe.pub and Adobe.
\xc2\xb7 Move Adobe towards a \xe2\x80\x9cfull-funnel\xe2\x80\x9d approach combing lower and upper funnel media to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
\xc2\xb7 Manage and coach a planning executive
\xc2\xb7 Always seek out new and improved planning approaches, partners, data sets, processes and ways of working to continuously improve the team.
Qualifications
\xc2\xb7 Passionate about multi-media channel planning based on data-led insights.
\xc2\xb7 Naturally interested in people, what makes them tick and how to influence their behaviours.
\xc2\xb7 An assured presenter, confident and collected. Excellent communication skills are critical.
\xc2\xb7 A confident multitasker, comfortable in fast paced environments.
\xc2\xb7 You will continually keep up to date with market developments and embrace the new.
\xc2\xb7 Will take great pride in delivering outstanding work across every campaign.
\xc2\xb7 Previous experience working on a tech client is a bonus, but not a requirement.
\xc2\xb7 Strong account management skills to ensure seamless delivery, build trust and develop an effective working relationship with Adobe and internal stakeholders.
\xc2\xb7 Natural curiosity and desire to help clients achieve goals.
\xc2\xb7 Have created strategies and plans to meet client needs, ideally in an international setting (though this is not required).
\xc2\xb7 Experience briefing a team of specialists and the ability to bridge planning and specialist execution.
\xc2\xb7 Knowledgeable in all media channels, particularly digital channels, though \xe2\x80\x9chands-on-keyboard\xe2\x80\x9d experience of the digital activation platforms is not required.
\xc2\xb7 Clear grasp of technical digital concepts with reasonable practical technical knowledge.
\xc2\xb7 Positive and well-informed, able to think quickly on your feet, not afraid to speak up and can defend their point of view without being dogmatic.
\xc2\xb7 Keen on new challenges and able to operate in a changing and flexible environment.
\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical skills and able to understand and interpret data; to identify trends, opportunities and make strategic arguments.
