We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our team as a Service Support Engineer at our location in Beccles.

What does this role include?



An accomplished and highly motivated individual to join the Planning team at PCE Automation. The role will involve assisting with planning processes and working closely with teams across multiple sites in Beccles, Suffolk, Lutterworth, Leicestershire, and Clondalkin, Dublin. You will interact with various systems such as the Factory Master ERP system, Mondays.com, and Orchestrate planning software to ensure accurate data entry and communication.

What skills and experience are required?



Responsibilities:



The following list is an indication of the responsibilities that the Planning Administrator is expected to undertake. The list is not exhaustive and is intended as guidance only.

Provide administrative support for planning and production (creating boards on

Monday.com, inputting work hours, adding parts to manufacturing boards, and printing drawings/route cards).

Coordinate with department managers and team leaders to gather information for

detailed resource planning and project scheduling.

Assist the planning team in creating schedules for multiple ongoing projects.

Monitor resource capacity and respond to shopfloor data (e.g., NCRs, unplanned

absence) by adjusting schedules as necessary.

Serve as a point of contact for the project management team to discuss progress, risks,

and potential delays.

Provide data to support the development and integration of new software/systems and perform CSV imports into the current system.

Produce regular reports on resource utilisation, project milestones, and performance,

and help identify potential delays.

Create and amend work orders as necessary.

Help prioritise and schedule production tasks based on project plans and raw material

availability (whether in stock or requiring procurement).

Work closely with the planning team to address any capacity or resource constraints that could affect production timelines.

Maintain production route requirements within the ERP system.

Communicate clearly and effectively with all departments to ensure smooth coordination.

Assist in the development and maintenance of accurate resource forecasts.

Contribute to the creation of initial build plans for machine production.

Maintain and present workshop layout plans, offering suggestions for layout optimisation.

Requirements:

IT literacy, with proficiency in ERP systems (Factory Master), planning software

(Monday.com, Orchestrate), and Microsoft Excel.

Strong communication and organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail.

Proactive, inquisitive problem-solving approach, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and tools.

Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, prioritise deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
