A core service LSH provides is in the area of Planning, Regeneration + Infrastructure (PR+I); with 100 professional consultants based in London, Bristol, Exeter, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Lincoln, Cambridge and Chelmsford.

Across the country, our team are currently engaged on a wide variety of projects, including Housing and Economic Need Assessments, Employment Need Assessments, Housing Land Supply Reviews, strategic portfolio reviews and site identification, socio-economic assessments and a wide variety of projects in between.

We have a varied portfolio of clients and the vast majority of our work is repeat business or on recommendation, endorsing the quality of our work. We work across the UK on a day to day basis on a variety of schemes of all shapes and sizes, dealing with a range of issues including major brownfield regeneration sites or heritage and conservation matters.

The work carried out by the team is diverse and rewarding, having direct impact on our clients business and providing true value. The services we provide also cover:

• Dealing with planning policy and site appraisals
• Local plan promotion and monitoring
• Evidence base preparation
• Section 106 negotiations
• Expert witness / planning appeals

This opportunity:

If successful, this position would see you working in our Leeds Planning team which covers the Yorkshire and North East region, working closely with our teams in Newcastle and Manchester. The position would involve close work with our Director in Leeds on a day to day basis, engaging on a number of different projects and pieces of work.

As a Planner at LSH you will be involved in your own fee-earning work and gaining a greater degree of client exposure on a regular basis. In the position, LSH will work with you to gain increased client exposure, develop and improve on your business development skills and experience and work with you to mentor and manage junior members of staff. As these skills develop over time, the business will look to your next stage of career progression and beyond.
