Responsibilities
As a Planner, you\xe2\x80\x99ll initially play a key role within the Hinkley Point C team, working closely with our Senior Planner, to aid delivery to time and budget
Your day to day will include:
You\xe2\x80\x99ll play a key role in ensuring that the programme is, communicated, reviewed, monitored, and efficiently delivered across all stages of the project planning life cycle, supporting the project management team through construction and handover.
You\xe2\x80\x99ll work closely with the operational team to help plan the sequence of work, explore, and develop \xe2\x80\x9cwhat-if\xe2\x80\x9d and mitigation scenarios, contributing to a key stage of the project.
You\xe2\x80\x99ll monitor, collect and provide key short term planning data to support the project and business unit control and reporting.
What do we need from you?
This role of Planner is great for you if:
Demonstrable experience in contract planning for a main contractor, including contribution to and execution of change management
Experienced within a civils water project, with complex constraints and MEICA is desirable
Able to accurately monitor a programme of works, challenging, contributing, maintaining records of change, trends, and variances, and be able to communicate and adapt to the same
Competent within Primavera P6
Proactive mind-set with good communication and problem-solving skills
