Role Overview
LAIL are recruiting a Planner to work within their Preconstruction Department. The successful candidate will work with be responsible for developing tender programmes for submissions across the business. Working with Bid Teams they will contribute to the continued success and growth of the business.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do
The following reflect the main tasks associated with your position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive:

• Review tender information for use in the development of reliable programme data;
• Develop tender programmes using client specified programme software;
• Communicate constraints and programme logic internally and externally;
• Contribute to technical responses relating to Programme, Logistics and Resources\xe2\x80\x99
• Collaborate with supply chain partners to incorporate their programme information into the overall programme for submission;
• Understand contractual obligations and their impact on programmes;
• Knowledge of contract forms and their impact on planning/programme requirements;
• Development of tender programmes post contract award for use by delivery teams, including communication of programme rationale and productivities;
• Support and develop other members of the team;
• Undertake other duties which may be required by management.

What you\'ll bring
Essential Criteria

• Previous experience in Construction/Building;
• Clear understanding of the construction process and how to develop programmes;
• IT skills \xe2\x80\x93 Microsoft package and planning software (Project, Primavera P6, Asta PowerProject);
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams;
• Good communication skills;
• Motivation and ability to work to deadlines.

Desirable Criteria

• Construction related qualification;
• Planning/Project Management qualification.
