Job Overview

We are seeking skilled Pipefitters who are experienced and confident in using a threading machine and installing prefabricated pipework to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of LTHW & CHW systems and be adept in various techniques for installation and maintenance. This role requires a combination of mechanical knowledge and practical skills, ensuring that all piping systems are built, installed, and maintained to the highest standards.

Duties

Read and interpret schematics and layout drawings to determine the layout of systems. Install, maintain, and repair systems in accordance with specifications. Solder and plumb pipes to ensure proper alignment and functionality. Operate power tools safely and efficiently for cutting, bending, and assembling pipes. Conduct regular inspections of piping systems to identify any issues or areas requiring maintenance. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project completion.

Experience

Candidates should have prior experience in pipefitting or a related field, demonstrating proficiency in:

Reading and interpreting technical schematics. Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations. Operating power tools safely in a construction environment. Hold a valid and in date CSCS card
For the right candidates there will be a minimum of 12 months work.

Pay will be based on ability and paid monthly.
