Job Description
My client in the Hemsworth area of Wakefield are looking for experienced Mechanical Pipe Fitters.
YOu will be responsible for installation of both flexible and steel fuel pipe work into various application of generator engine, acoustic generator housing, fuel tanks and fuel cabinets.
Responsibilities:
Preparing, installing, and testing of new fuel pipe installations.
Reading 2D & 3D drawings related to equipment installations.
Using a variety of tools to modify pipes to specifications.
Measuring and marking pipes for cutting threading & crimping.
Securing pipes to walls and fixtures with brackets and clamps.
Complying with relevant codes and regulatory standards.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pipe/mechanical/plant fitter.
Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to prioritize and maintain strong attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
Ability work at height and/or confined spaces.
Physical dexterity.
Working Days - Overtime available
