Job Description
The Best Connection (Newcastle) are currently recruiting Picking and Packing Operatives to work for our client based in North Shields. This role is expected to last until Christmas and may possibly be extended.
The Job
- Using a handheld scanner to pick customer orders
- Packing orders securely in a safe and timely manner
- General warehouse and housekeeping duties
- This role will involve repetitive movement
- Experience of working in a fast paced work environment
- Ability to get to the Tyne Tunnel Trading Estate for 6:30am
- Ability to work on weekends
- Ability to work well within a team, or use own initiative while working alone
- Reliable, punctual and hard working \xe2\x80\x8b
- 4 shifts on, 2 shifts off
- Rotating shifts
- Earlies (6:30am - 2pm) and Lates (2pm - 9:30pm)
- \xc2\xa310.42 per hour (x1.5 over 40hrs)
- On-going assignments
