The post holder will be an experienced Pharmacy Technician who is passionate about making a tangible difference in patient care. As a remote Pharmacy Technician, you will be part of a dynamic and growing team with excellent opportunities for development and peer support.

Role Requirements - Essentials - Pharmacy Technician - Remote Pharmacy Technician - Practice Pharmacy Technician:



Applicants must have a Pharmacy Technician qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) Primary care experience Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)

Role Requirements - Desirable - Pharmacy Technician - Remote Pharmacy Technician - Practice Pharmacy Technician:



Prior experience working in a PCN or GP practice Knowledge of medicines optimisation and PCN Pharmacy Technician working Ability to work independently while being a great team player Strong clinical communication and interpersonal skills

Role Responsibilities - PCN Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacy Technician:



Support the role of PCN clinical pharmacists in delivering clinical pharmacy services, including processing discharge/clinic letters from secondary care Assist in medicines improvement work to ensure best practices in prescribing Support medication safety monitoring systems (e.g. high-risk drugs) Collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to resolve medicine-related queries Monitor practice prescribing and adherence to local and national guidelines Support structured medication reviews Contribute to improving health outcomes for patients in the practice or PCN Assist in meeting key practice targets, such as QOF and other PCN performance indicators
