We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy technician/dispenser to join our team at The Riverside Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include preparing and dispensing prescribed medications in various forms, such as liquids, powders, tablets, and ointments, following prescriptions issued by medical professionals. You will also provide valuable advice to healthcare professionals on medication selection and usage, assess treatment suitability for patients with specific health conditions, and ensure proper medication management.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and dispense prescribed medicaments in various forms, adhering to prescriptions issued by medical professionals. Provide guidance and advice to patients on medication selection and appropriate usage. Identify potential side effects of medications, harmful interactions with other drugs, and assess treatment suitability for patients with specific health conditions. Ensure that patients understand medication instructions and monitor for adherence to prescribed doses. Maintain accurate prescription records, including the issuance of controlled drugs and habit-forming drugs. Monitor and manage medication inventory to ensure adequate supply and proper storage.
