Pharmacy Healthcare Assistant
Job Description
This role is providing frontline customer service at a busy professional community pharmacy. You will be advising and helping patients with minor ailments, medications and general healthcare advise. You will have the full support from a professional team. If you already have dispensing qualifications or experience, these will be a benefit to your application. In the role, you will also be responsible for keeping the shop well stocked, clean and tidy. You may need to occasionally support deliveries to housebound patients.
If you do not already possess pharmacy qualifications, training will be provided. Salary will be dependant on experience. A formal Apprenticeship scheme will also be considered.
Training is provided, a two-year commitment is requested. This role WILL NOT suit a student.
Your will work full or part-time hours, and will need the ability to work from on a rota which will include alternate Saturdays.
Responsibilities and Duties
Customer service
Medicines advice
Till And Stock management (IT skills preferable)
Maintaining a hygienic shop
Ability to support delivery driver preferable (Company vehicle supplied)
Qualifications and Skills
Excellent communication skills and a Friendly personality
Numerate, preferably maths GCSE level 4 or above
IT literate
Retail experience is preferable, specifically working with an EPOS till.
Pharmacy Training will be given

Pay: 12.00-12.15 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Monday to Friday Weekend availability
