1 : This is a National Minimum Wage Rate Job.

2 : This is a physically demanding role and on occasions you will have to work under pressure.

3 : You should make sure you are able to travel to Village Green Pharmacy before you apply for this vacancy.

4 : This is a 30 hours Per Week. Fully Flexible position.

5 : The usual shift pattern would be 6 hours daily with 30 minutes break, from 1:00 PM to 7:30 PM (Monday to Friday).

As part of this role, you will work both as a pharmacy delivery driver and a caretaker, requiring you to operate in both outdoor and indoor environments. Your caretaker responsibilities will include maintaining a clean, organised, and presentable shop, as well as overseeing waste disposal.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering dispensed prescriptions to patients' homes and care facilities, as well as collecting prescriptions from various healthcare providers, including surgeries and nurses. All deliveries and collections will be carried out using a company-owned van.

Additionally, the company will provide a uniform, which must be worn during working hours.

Essential Requirements

1: You must have a Full and Clean UK Driving Licence.

2: A GCSE or equivalent qualification.

3: Previous experience in a similar role shall be an advantage but not necessary however, knowledge of the local area (Acocks Green) and surroundings is essential to be short listed.

4: Due to the the above requirements, applicants living within Birmingham or nearer to the pharmacy shall be shortlisted. To make sure your application is shortlisted please mention your address or post code as a minimum.
