Job Description

Join our friendly pharmacy team as a full or part time Dispensary Assistant - QUALIFICATION ESSENTIAL (minimum of NVQ level 2 certificate in dispensing) working an average of 34.66 hours per week over 4 days plus 1 in 2 Saturdays.

We will consider full time or part time applicants to cover these hours.

Our pharmacy in Pensby, Wirral has been providing high quality care to the local community for over 50 years.

The job description is as follows:

Participating in the whole dispensing process including assembling and labelling prescriptions accurately Maintaining patient records on the PMR system Managing pharmaceutical stock and equipment including sourcing, receiving, storing, maintaining and issuing Engaging with the public to ensure we always deliver courteous and effective customer service. Completing patients' sales transactions for purchase of prescription and over-the-counter medications as well as other pharmaceutical products Providing public health services and information campaigns Helping to maintain the smooth running of the pharmacy business. Liaising with healthcare providers and patients to obtain correct prescription information Maintaining electronic patient information
Personal Requirements:

Good attention to detail and high levels of concentration. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Excellent team working skills. High level of IT literacy. A warm and friendly but professional attitude towards customers
