Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. You will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support medication administration.

Duties

Accurately dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation and packaging of medications, including labelling and documentation. Provide information to patients regarding their medications, including dosage instructions and potential side effects. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations. Collaborate with pharmacists to manage inventory levels, including ordering and restocking medications as needed. Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in pharmacy practice. Involve in stock purchase and stock control Part of the team in providing other clinical services such as blood pressure measurement and monitoring, vaccination, etc.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser or similar role is preferred. Strong understanding of medication administration procedures and patient care principles. Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and systems is advantageous. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care while adhering to ethical standards.
