Pharmacy Assistant - Relief role

:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Relief Pharmacy Assistant to support multiple pharmacy locations across Twyford, Sunninghill and Didcot. This role requires frequent travel between these locations, for which a valid UK driving license and access to a car are essential. Mileage will be reimbursed at 45p per mile upon submission of valid VAT receipts.

Hours:

40 hours per week Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with dispensing medications accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a pharmacist. Provide excellent customer service to patients and answer queries related to prescriptions and over-the-counter medications. Ensure compliance with pharmacy standards and regulations at all times. Stock management and handling deliveries between locations as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of pharmacy areas.

Requirements:

Pharmacy experience and NVQ Level 2 dispensary qualification. Familiarity with pharmacy operations and prescription handling processes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to work across multiple locations and adapt to varying work environments.

Desirable:

Pharmacy Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) qualification or equivalent. Additional certifications or training relevant to pharmacy operations.
