Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the team and make a difference at our Rainbow Superstore pharmacy in Market Deeping.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

It dispenses 2500 items a week It provides a wide range of services including NMS/bp/flu/covid/AMBP/ ear syringe/weight management It provides services to 3 substance misuse patients It dispenses 20 community blisters per week.

The team is comprised of 5 colleagues, 2 full time and 3 par time.


This pharmacy is open 8.30 - 5.30 Monday - Friday & 9-1 on a Saturday. We have an existing pharmacist working part time hours, so the successful candidate will ideally work the following work pattern:


38 hours


Monday - 8.30 - 5.30


Tuesday 8.30 - 5.30


Wednesday 8.30 - 2.30 (afternoon off)


Thursday 8.30 - 2.30 (afternoon off)


Friday 8.30 - 2.30 (afternoon off)


+ Alternate Saturdays 9-1


The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity.


You'll be focussed on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for your patients and customers.


You'll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You'll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits


We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.


We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we've put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
