We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal or Solicitor to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and management of personal injury cases, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and deadlines are met. This role requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and proficiency in various office software applications.
Duties
Assist solicitors in the preparation of personal injury cases, including drafting legal documents and correspondence.
Manage case files and maintain an organised filing system, ensuring all documents are easily accessible.
Conduct legal research and gather necessary evidence to support cases.
Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the case.
Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates using Outlook.
Maintain accurate records of case progress and deadlines while employing excellent time management skills.
Utilise Microsoft Word and Excel for document preparation and data management.
Collaborate with the legal team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and within set timelines.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a paralegal/solicitor or in a similar role within a legal environment is preferred but not required as full training will be provided.
Strong understanding of personal injury law is advantageous but not essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with IT systems relevant to legal practice is a plus.
