Personal Care Assistant Duties:
- Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices and techniques.
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying up.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Experience:
- Previous experience as a personal care assistant or caregiver is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with basic caregiving techniques and principles.
- Knowledge of proper hygiene practices and infection control measures.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and their families.
