Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide essential support in a privately rented flat. The ideal candidate will possess a good work ethic and compassion. This role requires a proactive individual who can assist with daily living activities while ensuring the comfort and well-being of the individual receiving care. Due to the nature of the role, we require a male candidate.

Duties

Assist with daily personal care tasks, including bathing and dental care. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for the individual. Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition is maintained. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions. Assist with mobility and transportation, including driving to appointments or social activities. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in health or behaviour to relevant parties.

Skills

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is preferred. Knowledge of first aid practices to ensure immediate response in emergencies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and their families. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help the individual improve their quality of life. Organised approach to managing tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. On the update service or the ability to aquire and present a DBS certificate.
