You will be part of a team of Personal Assistants supporting people in their new homes to form a community of adults who have a range of support needs, including Learning Disabilities and Autism. Support can range from providing personal care to helping them access their local community. Each person will have their own team with opportunities to tap into adhoc support when required. This modern development will use the latest technology to assist people to maintain independence and support them in the transition into their first home. You will form part of a vibrant team making a real difference to lives of the people you support.

Let us introduce you Bernie, Ellie, Jamie and Dave:

Bernie requires support with all aspects of her care including personal care and household tasks, as well as support to maintain her health and wellbeing. She loves home cooked meals with mince or stew and potatoes being amongst her favourites, therefore having an interest in cooking would be an advantage. Bernie has many interests including listening to music or joining in when people are singing, particularly if it is one of her favourite nursery rhymes or traditional Scottish songs. She loves going out to feed the ducks, spending time in the garden and having her nails painted. She also has a fascination with balloons, especially when they burst, so be expected for a few frights.

Ellie enjoys playing games like Dominoes and Snakes and Ladders, being able to bake and cook, and be active in her community with a purpose. Ellie is also very creative and loves to draw, paint and colouring in. She likes to sing and dance, she likes all kinds of music but her favourite singer is Kylie. Ellie will often start singing songs that she makes up on the spot which can be about anything such as ASDA or chocolate but they are always catchy! Ellie has a good sense of humour and likes to chance her luck with people as she finds it hilarious, she loves the song \'Rhythm is a dancer\' except she sings \'Ellie is a chancer\'

Jamie enjoys going to the park for long walks and adventures, swimming, bowling and museums. He has many interests and will give things a try even if it is just once. Some of his interests include enjoying music and will participating in musical activities. He also enjoys sensory and messy play, arts and crafts and baking and cooking. He likes going to large soft play areas and jumping on the trampoline and also likes the sensory feel of water. Jamie is also very good with animals. Jamie requires support with all aspects of his care including personal care and household tasks. He also requires support to maintain his health and wellbeing including management of his diabetes.

Dave has many interests and will give new things a try, even if it is just once. Some of his interests include horse riding, bowling, messy play and watching football matches on the TV. He also loves watching games shows, Disney, action packed movies and Glasgow based comedies including \'Still Game\'. He also likes listening to loud music, whether it be heavy metal, opera or people playing instruments. Dave requires support with all aspects of his care including personal care and household tasks, as well as support to maintain his health and wellbeing. He loves home cooked meals and especially likes spicy foods and curries, therefore having an interest in cooking would be an advantage.

Sadly, it\'s not always possible for Bernie, Ellie, Jamie and Dave to enjoy what many people would consider these \'simple pleasures\' without proper, dedicated support. That is why they need you! Will you bring your best so that they can live their best lives?
