We are recruiting on behalf of an animal charity hospital in Newcastle-upon-Tyne for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This role is part time for 22.5 hours per week, along with weekends on a rota with time off in lieu the following week.
You will deal with a controlled and manageable caseload based on the patient and client needs before all else, as opposed to being driven by commission or income targets.
The practice is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic nurse who has a good level of nursing experience and shares their ethos of educating the public on preventative animal welfare. The role will involve carrying out consultations, providing in-patient care and supporting the vets in operations.

About the role:
The nurse will be working as part of the team with a variety of duties from supporting the theatre, inpatient care, consults, admission, dispensing medications, maintaining hygiene and encouraging financial contributions
The hospital building is well equipped with plenty of consulting space allowing them to meet the demands of this busy small practice
The caseload is very varied on a day to day basis
There is an opportunity to perform schedule three surgeries with training and support

Package:
Salary: \xc2\xa323,857 to \xc2\xa328,397 pro rata, commensurate to experience
Holidays: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
