Permanent Veterinary Nurse - Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire

We are recruiting for a small animal practice in Middlesbrough who are looking for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team.
The practice is looking for an empathetic and ambitious RVN who has good experience working in a small animal practice. The role will involve all aspects of nursing and you will be prepared to develop your skills by collaborating with the wider team. You will perform your nursing duties with confidence to provide the gold standard of care to the practice\'s loyal clients by assisting vets in surgical procedures. You must have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Your nursing duties will involve managing the kennels, assisting in the operating theatre, and consulting.
This role is full or part time with Saturdays on a rota. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
Duties:
Assisting in the day to day running of the practice
Admissions and discharges
Working alongside the non-clinical and clinical team to ensure the smooth delivery of patient and client care
Be responsible and take ownership of tasks
Monitoring operations and assisting the vet in surgery
Administering medications and taking records accurately
In patient care
Nurse clinics
Measuring blood pressure, sampling, and pharmacy work
Key details:
Type: Small animal
Hours: Full or part time, shifts from 8:30am to 6pm
Weekends: Saturdays on a rota, 9am to 6pm
OOH: None
Branch work: N/A
Computer system: RX Works
Consultations: 15 minutes
Team: 3 vets, 2 RVNs and supportive non-clinical team

Package:
Salary: \xc2\xa324,000 to \xc2\xa328,000 pro rata, commensurate to experience
Holidays: 5.6 weeks annual leave, increasing to 6.6 weeks after 2 years of service
