We are recruiting on behalf of a veterinary hospital in Edinburgh for a Permanent Veterinary Clinical Director to join their team. This role is full time with weekends on a rota. The role is based within a 24hr animal hospital, and you will be responsible for co-managing a large team of 65.
The role will involve provide support and coaching to the vet and nursing team and they CD will be responsible for the advancement of clinical services and standards as well as financial planning and budget work. The practice is looking for a confident and experienced Vet and ideally someone who is looking to move up and take on more responsibility within a management role.
The practice support areas of special interest and post graduate studies. Certificates are encouraged and supported.
The RCVS-accredited hospital is well-staffed and fully equipped with ultrasonography, video endoscopy, digital radiography, laparoscopy, in-house laboratory machines and all the other essentials you would expect. RVN\'s are on site 24 hours per day.

About you:
You will be looking to move into a management role
Previous management experience is advantageous
You must have a strong work ethic and provide an excellent high standard of clinical service
You will be confident in all areas of routine surgeries and medical cases
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff
You will be a strong team player

The practice is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities as one would expect from a modern animal hospital and OOH service.
Package:
Salary: \xc2\xa365,000 to \xc2\xa375,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
Holidays: 6 weeks annual leave
CPD: Generous allowance of \xc2\xa31,750
