We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal hospital in Watford for a Permanent Head Veterinary Nurse to lead their nursing team.
The practices are looking for an empathetic and ambitious RVN who has good experience working within a small animal practice. The role will involve all aspects of nursing and you will be prepared to develop your skills by collaborating with the wider team. You will perform your nursing duties with confidence to provide the gold standard of care to the practice\'s loyal clients by assisting vets in surgical procedures. You must have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Your main duties will involve general nursing duties, managing the kennels, in-patient care, assisting in the operating theatre, and consulting.
The role is full time for 40 hours per week, along with 1 in 6 weekends. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
