Performing Arts Coach
Job Description
We are recruiting a part time dance/performing arts coach to join our fantastic team.
Initially a part time role between delivering afternoon PE/PPA sessions, and After school clubs daily, with increasing sessions as the role develops.
KA Kits Academy CIC Ltd is an Independent Community Interest Company specialising in delivery of Physical Education services and enrichment opportunities to communities within towns and cities across the Midlands, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
The main objectives of KA Kits Academy CIC Ltd is to provide Physical Education and enrichment services to children of all backgrounds. Health and well-being aims are at the heart of all provisions and projects to present services to areas most in need.
The Dance/Performing arts Instructor will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivery of high quality Expressive Arts provision to children / young people in educational environments. All candidates must be comfortable with delivering a variety of different Performing Arts topics and developing into an Expressive Arts Specialist.
Essential Criteria:
Experience in delivering high quality performing arts/dance provisions Knowledge and skills to deliver programmes to different groups, young people and different ability levels Relevant dance/performing arts training A good basic level of education The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative Hold or undertake a valid first aid certificate or willing to achieve if appointed. Hold or undertake valid safeguarding certificate or willing to achieve if appointed Demonstrate good time keeping and have evidence of a good attendance record. Enhanced DBS
Desirable Criteria:
Experience or desire to lead planning, delivery and evaluation of performing arts/dance sessions within different settings. Driving License. The candidate should be able to drive or willing to travel whilst learning to drive.
This is a perfect role for an individual looking to work with children in Performing Arts.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 20.00-30.00 per hour
