Job Description

We are looking for a creative, engaging and enthusiastic Administrator to join Ashford School from October 2023.

A genuine love of Music and Drama, coupled with excellent admin skills, the ability to prioritise and respond flexibly are essential.

As well as organising our team of peripatetic music teachers\xe2\x80\x99 timetables, you will be playing a pivotal role in the organisation and preparations for school concerts and productions and therefore the ability to communicate effectively with parents, students and staff is important.

The role is for 35 hours per week, for 37 weeks a year (term time plus two weeks); you will be expected to be present at the school\xe2\x80\x99s evening performances.

As part of the United Learning Trust, Abbey Hey Academy is a larger than average sized primary school in the heart of Gorton, East Manchester. The school serves a vibrant and diverse community of learners.

Abbey Hey is incredibly popular with local families and has very few places available along with long waiting lists for some year groups. In 2019, the school secured a \xe2\x80\x98Good\xe2\x80\x99 Ofsted judgement, details of which can be found on the school website.
