  • Do you have a thirst to get into the data behind every Olympic and Paralympic medal winning performance?
  • Can you analyse, interpret and translate insights and evidence how performance and environment need align to power the next generation of Champions?
  • Do you watch sport all the time thinking about what might be going on in the background of that performance?;
o Have they overperformed or underperformed based on historical performances?
o Do World Champions convert to Olympic and Paralympic Champions?
o How many medals does a Nation need to win to top the medal table?
o Does the host nation always do well at a Games?
  • If you already have the answers to these questions, or you have the skills to find out then come and join the Performance Investment Strategy Team at UK Sport.
  • You'll also have passion for Olympic and Paralympic sport, data technology and enjoy working as part of a high-performance team.
Who will I be working with?
You'll work alongside a passionate and committed team of data professionals within UK Sport, providing complex data interpretation to support colleagues within the business, and the sports we partner with, to make better informed decisions about the future direction of Olympic and Paralympic sport in the UK.About you
You might have transferable skills outside of elite sport that can be applied or utilised in this role, we are looking for people who:
  • Are passionate about deriving insight from data
  • Enjoy continuously developing your technical skills and learning from others
  • Influencing decision making through provision and interpretation of data
  • Are inquisitive and keen to explore datasets to develop a deep understanding
  • Can explain complex technical information in an engaging way to a range of stakeholders
