Job Title: Performance Analyst - Counter Terrorism Policing HQ
Salary: The starting salary is \xc2\xa337,289, which includes allowances totalling \xc2\xa32,841.
The salary is broken down as \xc2\xa334,448 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale - \xc2\xa336,864 Plus a location allowance of \xc2\xa31,841 and a non-pensionable allowance of \xc2\xa31,000.

Our business planning will reach the highest levels - senior leaders within CTP, Government and Security Services. Which makes it a unique environment for your analysis skills.
Our Strategy, Planning and Performance team (SPP) provides performance reporting and analysis on behalf of the National CT Network. Join them, and you will analyse and interpret a wide range of information to create meaningful reports that aid vital decision making. It will see you working extensively with external partners including other Police Forces, Security Services and Cross-Government Departments.
In essence, you\'ll be supporting our Higher Performance Analysts in providing analysis that assesses how effectively the UK Counter Terrorism Network is delivering the services expected of it. You\'ll use analytical findings to identify trends, forecast future implications and highlight areas of good or poor performance to a wide range of senior stakeholders within the Police, Security Services and Government.
This role will draw on your knowledge of IT packages, especially Excel, and your ability to translate information into meaningful reports. You\'ll also need to be adept at building relationships with customers and stakeholders right across the UK Counter Terrorism Network.
Whether you\'re an analyst, experienced researcher or a graduate looking to further your career in in policing and analytics, you\'ll need a good knowledge of data visualisation software. You\'ll have used data to drive business decisions and be comfortable presenting your ideas and findings to senior leaders. You\'ll also bring us a strong understanding of sources and analytical tools, and skills in developing performance measurement frameworks.

Vetting
This post requires access to the most sensitive intelligence material on a daily basis. Applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Developed Vetting (DV) level before taking up the post.
Additionally, this material is of particular sensitivity to the UK and its distribution must be restricted to UK nationals. In approved circumstances dual nationals (of which one element is British) may also be granted access. However, in the event that potential conflicts of interest cannot be managed the post holder will not be able to see the intelligence material and will not be able to perform their duties. For the purpose of safeguarding national security and in line with Cabinet Office Policy, supported by Section 82(2) to (4) of the Police Reform Act (2002), applicants who do not hold or acquire Security Check (enhanced) (SC(e)) OR Developed Vetting (DV) clearance and meet the nationality requirements cannot be offered the post.
