At Leonardo, we have a fantastic fixed term contract opportunity for a People Change Champion to join the Future Factory Change team. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated People Change Champion to work in synchronisation with the project team to deliver the People elements of the Change initiatives in the Future Factory Change programme.
Future Factory is a strategic programme to deliver state-of-the-art operational systems and ways of working to equip and support Leonardo to deliver against our UK business strategy. Ultimately, as our People are the key to these changes, your role as People Change Champion is crucial.
The Future Factory programme is one element of our digital transformation journey, by re-imagining and redefining how we run significant elements of our business, and by utilising an integrated set of advanced technology capabilities to work for us. This will in turn, create the headspace to enable our people to continue our long-established heritage of innovation in the marketplace and keep Leonardo competitive for decades to come.
What you will do
As a People Change Champion, you will be a positive influencer for the Future Factory programme into the business and your main responsibility areas will include:
Leading change management activities for the specified workstream/project using a structured change management process and tools to create a Change Management (CM) strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative. This will include appropriately customising the CM tools for each impacted group as required.
Supporting communication efforts by supporting the design, development, delivery and management of communications.
Assess the change impact by conducting impact analysis, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
Support training efforts by supporting with input, documenting requirements and supporting the design and delivery of training programs.
Act as the primary point of contact between impacted employees in associated department(s) and the core project team throughout the project duration.
Working in synchronization with the technical project team in order to ensure alignment between the Technical and People aspects of the Change.
Gathering and collating relevant people-change data on the progress of the project throughout all its phases. Actively feeding this information into the core change team to ensure that they are fully informed to enable relevant People Change Champion to tailor project-specific change management plans.
Supporting and advising the Project Management and Solution (Product) Owners in all matters pertaining to the people-change side of the project.

Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
Change management certification would be highly desirable
