People Advisory ManagerMake an Impact at RSM UKWe are looking for a People Advisory Manager to join RSM's people team in either our Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds or London offices. Reporting to the Associate Director - People Operations and Advisory, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation of RSM's people strategy - Make an Impact and Be our Future.Working closely with the HR Business Partner aligned to the tax service line, you will take a hands-on role in delivering people initiatives and operational priorities, through the People Advisory team. While strategic direction is led by the HRBP, your role will ensure high-quality, consistent delivery of people solutions and services that add value across the employee lifecycle.
In this role, you will also support and guide your team on complex employee relations matters, acting as an escalation point to ensure fair, consistent and commercially sound outcomes.You'll make an impact by:

  • Supporting the consistent delivery of the people agenda nationally and across the service line, including wellbeing, engagement, and inclusion, partnering with internal teams and aligning with key priorities
  • Supporting the execution of people change programmes, ensuring clear communication, alignment with firm values, and thoughtful management of impact and risk
  • Leading, coaching and developing the People Advisory team, supporting their growth, ensuring quality delivery, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Contributing to the delivery and enhancement of high-quality people processes that enhance employee experience and position RSM as an employer of choice
  • Providing expert advice on policies and processes, ensuring they are applied fairly and consistently, and offer pragmatic, commercially aligned solutions to people-related challenges
  • Managing a range of ER issues with care and diligence, balancing fairness to employees with appropriate risk management for the firm
  • Coordinating and supporting key cyclical people processes such as performance reviews, reward cycles, and workforce planning, working closely with specialist teams to ensure alignment and efficiency

  • An effective People Advisory Manager with a proven track record of leading a team to create and deliver business focused people solutions
  • A strong understanding and awareness of best people practice across the employee lifecycle, the importance of the employee experience and its impact on employer brand
  • High degree of business acumen with the interpersonal skills, courage and expertise to effectively influence business leaders
  • Track record of initiating and leading the development of people processes and delivery of change projects
  • In depth knowledge of current employment legislation and extensive experience of managing employee relations effectively within a regulated environment
