Payroll/accounts Administrator

Job Description

Payroll and accounts specialist required to join a busy team in an Netherton. You will be joining a well-established business that has been in the industry for over 40 years.

You will play a vital role in processing the weekly payroll and assisting with day-to-day duties in the accounts office

Duties will include:



Weekly payroll for 200 employees

Managing holiday entitlement

Recording employee absences

General accounts office duties, including

Handle queries from suppliers, customers, and internal teams

Provide general administrative support

Working closely with other departments

Inputting in scanning invoices

Opening new accounts and confirming bank details

Dealing with general inquiries from customers

Checking on controlling daily emails

Data entry of purchase invoices onto a bespoke system

Checking self billed invoices

The ideal candidate:



Experience with sage 50 payroll ideally some experience

Experience within a similar role is essential

Good working knowledge of credit control and purchase Ledger

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work off your own initiative

Hours:



Monday to Thursday: 8:30- 3pm

Friday: 8:30 - 2pm

Half hour lunch

Depending on experience
