NXTGEN is delighted to be partnering with a modern and forward-thinking accountancy firm in Norwich to recruit a Payroll Senior to join their experienced and supportive payroll team. This is a newly created role, driven by continued growth in client demand and the expansion of the firm's payroll offering. It's a brilliant opportunity for an experienced payroller to step into a role with real variety, autonomy, and future progression.
As the new Payroll Senior, you'll be joining a friendly and collaborative team who pride themselves on delivering a high quality service. You'll be joining a firm whose employees and clients are at the heart of what they do. Known locally for their down to earth culture and flexible working environment, they offer the ideal space for payroll professionals to thrive. I've had the pleasure of working closely with this firm for several years, successfully placing their current Payroll Manager along with a number of their wider finance team, so I can give you a genuine insight into what to expect and the success stories that have followed.
Key Responsibilities:
Process end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current legislation
Handle complex payroll queries and provide expert advice on PAYE, pensions, statutory payments, and auto-enrolment
Review and support the work of junior payroll staff, offering guidance and mentoring
Collaborate with clients to ensure accurate payroll data is collected and submitted on time
