We are looking for a payroll clerk to join our friendly team on a permanent basis. The role is Monday to Friday, full time 40 hours per week including 1 hour's lunch break, office based. Previous experience in payroll is essential.
Your main duties will be managing a payroll portfolio of Monthly, Fortnightly and Weekly payrolls as well as Processing Monthly CIS returns. You will be responsible to liaise with your own client base daily as well as HMRC and the pension providers on behalf of the clients.
Ideal Candidate will have the below:
At least 1 year's payroll processing experience
Sage 50 Payroll experience is advantageous but not essential
Be able to work as part as a team efficiently
Excellent Communication and Organisational Skills
Able to plan and prioritise a varied workload within strict deadlines and can work independently or as part of the team
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a desire for getting things right first time
Main duties include:
Processing payrolls from start to finish
Managing starters and Leavers including issuing P45's
Calculating Salaries and ensuring compliance with NMW as well as statutory payments
Submitting and uploading Pension data to Pension providers
Liaising directly with clients, HMRC, pension regulator
Handling Client Queries with detail and care
Submission of Declaration of Compliances with PR
Processing monthly CIS Returns
Submission of CIS Suffered claims and collating information to support claims
Salary will be 26k plus depending on experience
