We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy in data entry, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software, making it essential for the successful administration of payroll functions within the organisation.
Responsibilities
Process payroll for employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Maintain employee records in the HRIS, including personal details, pay rates, and tax information.
Perform data entry tasks related to payroll changes, such as new hires, terminations, and adjustments.
Analyse payroll data to identify discrepancies or issues and resolve them promptly.
Collaborate with the Human Resources department to ensure accurate reporting of employee benefits and deductions.
Assist in the preparation of reports related to payroll, accounts payable, and other financial activities as required.
Utilise accounting software such as Workday, QuickBooks, or PeopleSoft for efficient payroll processing.
Ensure confidentiality of sensitive employee information at all times.
Experience
Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role is essential.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices related to payroll administration.
Proficiency in using accounting software; familiarity with Workday, QuickBooks, or PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
Experience working with HRIS systems to manage employee data effectively.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Familiarity with accounts payable processes is an advantage.
