We are a long-established payroll bureau based in Pontypridd. The company provides dedicated outsourced payroll services to over 200 clients over a wide range of business sectors.
The Role
Payroll assistant with exposure to all roles performed within a modern payroll practice.
Full-time, 35 hours per week Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm. Flexible part time option available.
Based at our office in Pontypridd working in friendly, hardworking office of fourteen staff, six of whom are dedicated to payroll services.
Experience
No previous payroll experience required; training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Qualifications & Experience
A-level or equivalent. The successful candidate should have a friendly, approachable manner with the ability to engage with clients in a friendly but professional way.
Competencies/Skills needed
Computer skills including MS office.

Having excellent written and spoken communication

Key Processes
Working within a team to run weekly payroll for clients including answering queries by phone and in person.
The successful applicant will have responsibility for running a variety of payrolls from start to finish. The allocated portfolio will include weekly and monthly payroll clients.
Pension data submission
Assist where required with administration functions within the bureau including telephone & reception.
Perform ad hoc projects and reports as directed by senior management.
Full training will be given including use of software.
Pay and Conditions
Salary dependent on qualifications and experience.
5% contributory pension scheme.
Holidays 31 days per annum including bank holidays.
