Job Description

Prepare and craft high-quality pastry, desserts, and baked goods with precision and consistency. Supervise and mentor junior pastry chefs, fostering skill development and ensuring team excellence. Monitor stock levels of pastry ingredients and report inventory needs to maintain seamless production. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency within the pastry workstation. Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance at all times. Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to harmonize pastry production with overall kitchen operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional pastry kitchen. Culinary degree or specialised certification in pastry arts is preferred. Strong knowledge of pastry preparation techniques, baking methods, and presentation styles. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a pastry kitchen environment. Ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a team-oriented environment. Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality and visually appealing creations.
