PEP Pilton Equalities Project based in the North Edinburgh Area is looking to grow a team of passenger assistants for their community transport journeys.
The Passenger Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable travel experience for passengers. This position involves assisting individuals, particularly those with mobility challenges or special needs, as they navigate their journey. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with passengers and team members alike.
Duties
Provide assistance to passengers boarding and alighting from vehicles, ensuring their safety at all times.
Communicate clearly with passengers to understand their needs and provide appropriate assistance.
Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during the transportation process.
Maintain a friendly and professional demeanour while interacting with passengers.
Report any incidents or concerns to the Charity's manager promptly.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless travel experience for all passengers.
Skills
