Job Description
Step Teachers are working with a primary school in Enfield to recruit a Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join their team starting in September 2023.
This is a great school supported by a stable leadership team and staff where students enjoy their learning. The school is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who will readily engage with the school\xe2\x80\x99s ambitious, organised, and friendly educational atmosphere for the academic year. This role would consist of working 2 days per week alongside the school\'s Reception Class.
Role:
- Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivery of activities
- Supporting the development of children\xe2\x80\x99s language and communication skills
- Encouraging positive behaviour and providing pastoral support to children when required
- Preparing and setting up activities, ensuring that resources are available and appropriately used
- Providing feedback to parents and carers on children\xe2\x80\x99s progress and achievements
- Minimum Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Experience working within a primary school setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
