It is an exciting time to join as we have a waiting list ready for expansion in April and September. We are looking to hire new staff across a range of roles so we can train in advance of expansion and build a strong team in preparation.

Job Purpose

Leading a high quality programme of stimulating Active Play, Enrichment and Core Skills experiences to ensure active participation and equality of opportunity for all children attending under the supervision of the Site Leader. You would be assigned to the Create and Discover Team. The role also supports the Site Leader in administration and running of the site.

Working Pattern:

Part-time: 10 to 25 hours per week (additional overtime hours available if desired) Term-time only Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (condensed working patterns available) We build your fixed hours with you to ensure you have work-life balance and if desired can have other roles. Range of fixed start times to suit you between 7.15am and 3.45pm Range of fixed finish times to suit you between 8.40am and 6.15pm Part-time is possible. Three examples: 12noon to 6.15pm; 2.30pm to 5.30pm; 7.15am to 9.15am.

Essential Experience:

One year experience of working with 4 to 11 year olds in a childcare, education or formal setting. We have a volunteer programme and paid Activity Leader role for those not qualifying for this essential requirement. See our other job roles.

Desirable Qualifications:

NVQ level 3, Teaching or relevant Childcare qualification One year experience of working with 4 to 11 year olds in a childcare, education or formal setting GSCE (or equivalent) Maths Grade C GSCE (or equivalent) English Grade C Paediatric First Aid Level 2 Food Hygiene
